Pain and Pleasure

Needing, Missing, Wanting You.

A Dog without his bone,
Agoraphobic without a home,
A Vocalist without song,
Such is a day without your love.

A Sun with no sky to light,
A hero with no crime to fight,
A bird with no wings for flight,
Such is an hour without your love.

A pen with no ink,
Dirty dishes with no sink,
A mind which cannot think,
Such is a minute without your love.

A body with no soul,
A hand which cannot hold,
A joke always untold,
Such is a second without your love.

Eyes without sight,
Stars without night,
Lamps without light,
Such is my heart outside yours.

Marrow to my bones,
Air to my lungs,
Queen to my throne,
Yours all along.

Reunion

Alive Inside Your Love

Water in a well,
Demons inside hell,
Clappers ringing bells,
DAMN! This is GOOD!

Oreos in milk,
A lady’s curves in silk,
Horns atop an elk,
Jesus! This is GOOD!

Fat and Krispy Kreme,
Lil Wayne on that Lean,
Sinner’s soul made clean,
God!  This is GOOD!

Hermit all alone,
Antony in Rome,
ET phoning home,
Ooooh!  This is GOOD!

Long at last,
The dark has past,
I thrive inside your love.
