A friend was expressing concern at being jaded by the world. I responded with this and wanted to share it with you all too. Be encouraged!
A compliment I received from an ex-wife was
that I loved like I was never hurt before. I truly appreciated that.
It isn't at all easy, but to know in your heart and soul that you
give everyone a clean slate and that you aren't holding on to the
past, which simultaneously holds you back, is an honor, and one of the
greatest accomplishments humanity can ever achieve. That said, hang in there and
never give up. If you go for it, God will protect you.
Every day, like every relationship, has
trouble. You just have to determine to be IN the world, but not OF
the world. Be wise though and careful, never forgetting where you
really are.
Last but not least, let us all stay
focused during the birthing pains of our destiny, that we will be
able to experience the joy to come.
Don't let this place turn you into someone you don't like and don't respect.
If HE can make it, then so can we!
